Biography
Dr. Nita Landry, known as “Dr. Nita,” is co-host of the Emmy award-winning talk show, The Doctors; an in-demand keynote speaker; and a board- certified OB/GYN.
She has been featured as a go-to medical expert on television programs such as Good Morning America (Strahan, Sara, and KeKe); The Today Show; Dr. Phil; Iyanla: Fix My Life; CBS National News; and Black Entertainment Television. Dr. Nita is also quoted regularly in national publications such as Self Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine, Shape Magazine, Essence Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and The Atlantic.
Dr. Nita is widely respected for her dedication to empowering women to leverage their full potential. To this end, she served as an Ambassador for National Women’s Health Week in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Recent keynote speeches at female-focused events include, The Ultimate Women’s Expo (the nation’s largest women’s expo); the United Nations Foundation Moms + Social Good Event; and the influential Essence Festival.
She was also asked to use her extensive influence to support a national breast cancer awareness campaign that was spearheaded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In addition, Dr. Nita is keynote speaker to organizations and associations on optimizing health wellness and female-empowerment.
Dr. Nita is also a popular speaker at college campuses where she inspires and teaches students how to pursue their dream career while optimizing their health and wellbeing.
With the goal of inspiring future generations, Dr. Nita is the Founder of A Healthier, Happier Me, a new non-profit organization that will educate grade-school kids, high school and college students and young adults about the importance of physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
